About Us

Welcome to the Terahertz Applications research group.

The group stands at the forefront of exploring a fascinating and uniquely informative part of the light spectrum: terahertz (THz) radiation. Terahertz radiation has excellent potential to help with the understanding of fundamental and exciting new challenges at the interface between physics, materials chemistry and the life sciences.

Research

We are using terahertz spectroscopy to understand the physical characteristics of a wide variety of materials across pharmaceuticals, catalysis, nanotechnology and non-destructive testing.
