Ian Professor of Soft Solids and Surfaces at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge. He graduated in chemical engineering (MA, 1988; MEng, 1989) from Cambridge before completing a PhD (1994) at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
He has been a member of the academic staff at Cambridge since 1994, becoming a Fellow of Jesus College in 1995. Professor Wilson currently leads the Particles, Soft Solids and Surfaces Research Group.
