Biography
Dr Zachariah Bond is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge. His research interests are in carbon capture and storage, specifically in the use of chemical looping technology and fluidised beds to convert solid biomass into energy.
Zach obtained his MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and continued his studies in this department, earning his PhD in 2021.
He is a Fellow of Magdalene College, Cambridge where he serves as Director of Studies in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.

Teaching and supervision
Dr Bond teaches and supervises across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He plays a major part in the development and delivery of the Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology Tripos.
