Driven by curiosity. Driving change

Biography

Professor Geoff Moggridge leads the Structured Materials group in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge.

His research is centred on design and development of chemical products, production and control of microstructures and on environmental issues more broadly.

Research interests
  • Chemical product design
  • Development of an improved prosthetic heart valve
  • Understanding the relationship between mutual and tracer diffusion coefficients in binary non-ideal liquid mixtures.

Professor Moggridge’s group is interested in the fundamentals of material microstructure and its application in chemical product design.

Awards and achievements
  • Official Fellow – King’s College, Cambridge
