Driven by curiosity. Driving change

Biography

Dr Devon Indar is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge. His research focused on catalytic reaction kinetics (specifically asymmetric autocatalysis and heterogeneous catalysis based on nanoparticulate Au/TiO2) before he shifted his focus to teaching and scholarship.

Devon obtained his MEng in Chemical Engineering with Chemistry from the University of Manchester in 2009 and completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science at the same University in 2015.

He joined the University of Cambridge in 2023 and is a Fellow of Queens College, Cambridge.

Research interests
  • Catalysis reaction kinetics
