Driven by curiosity. Driving change

Biography

Professor Adrian Fisher leads the Electrochemical and Microengineering group in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on microfabrication, fluid dynamics, numerical simulations,  spectroscopic analysis and electrochemical methodology

Adrian obtained his PhD from the Department of Theoretical and Physical Chemistry at the University of Oxford in 1991.

Research interests
  • Microreactor fabrication
  • Computer aided design
  • Fluid dynamics
  • Electrochemical methodology

Professor Fisher’s research group seeks to utilise electrochemical measurements for sensing applications in high throughput microfluidic devices, fabricate unusual nanoscale structures and simulate the reactions occurring in electrolysis-type reactions.

Teaching and supervision

Professor Fisher teaches and supervises across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
